In this daytime session we'll have the following talks:

1. Bootstrapping Data Science in a Large Organisation - Riaz Arbi

How FOSS and containers can help us do real work. Riaz will share his gameplan for building a completely FOSS bare metal data science environment, that can reliably bring code to production use.

2. Really simple Data Pipelines with Airflow and Docker - Gordon Inggs

So you have a data science environment, and you want to do a series of ETL operations? Sounds like you want a data pipeline. In this talk, Gordon will describe how to use Apache Airflow and Docker to build MVP data pipelines with minimal effort and a moderate degree of fuss.
