Agenda

Community Intro and Welcoming

18:15 - Community Intro and Welcoming

18:20 - MAYDAY! Monkeys on the loose in Production!

A mischievous primate let loose in your production environment, gleefully creating chaos to test your system's resilience. Its job? To find out if your application can handle unexpected disruptions, from random instance terminations to network outages.

How to Use It Correctly:

1. Prepare for Mayhem: Start in a staging environment. Only a brave soul would unleash Chaos Monkey straight into production!

2. Define Your Chaos: Specify the types of faults you want to inject. Will it be a server crash, a latency spike, or an entire availability zone going down?

3. Monitor Like a Hawk: Keep a close eye on your systems. Log everything. You’ll want to know exactly what that monkey's up to.

4. Analyze and Adapt: Use the results to strengthen your system’s resilience. Patch the holes that Chaos Monkey finds.

5. Gradually Escalate: Increase the scope of the chaos over time, moving towards production as your confidence grows.

Unleash the chaos, learn from the mayhem, and emerge with a battle-hardened, resilient system. Just remember, the monkey might be cheeky, but it's there to make your system stronger! 🐒💥
