Explore an art gallery with tea & talk after

Welcome to our first event!

We will meet outside the Iziko South African National Gallery at 2pm. After brief introductions, we will enter the gallery (R40 entry fee/R20 for students and pensioners) and explore the exhibitions through a guided activity: In pairs or individually, depending on numbers, we will choose artworks that represent assigned emotions like hope or sadness. This is a fun activity meant to stimulate discussion and does not require any art expertise at all!

Afterwards, we will have coffee/tea at Madame Zingara's/The Company's Garden Restaurant which is just across the garden from ISANG. There we will share our selected artworks and also discuss what kinds of events and activities the group is interested in going forward.
