SUGSA December Event: Lean Thinking – Working Smarter, Not Harder

Lean Thinking follows on from a topic discussed in the September Open Space (https://www.meetup.com/Cape-Town-Scrum-User-Group-SUGSA/events/224923115/) surrounding thoughts on being "Lean".This is an interactive session that aims to create awareness of how to identify wasteful processes and introduce lean thinking. Because lean is in the improvement, and experience is the best teacher, the session is designed to spark discussions around personal experiences, hints and tips, or general process improvement ideas so that we can share, discuss and learn from one another.

In a nutshell - I am currently a QA working at Open Box Software in Tokai. I studied Management Honours & Information System Honours at Rhodes University, and moved to Cape Town 3 years ago. My recent work has involved testing SharePoint solutions but I also enjoy mobile & UI/UX testing. I love music and attempt, on occasion, to play the guitar. I enjoy sports, especially horse riding and have a black belt in karate.
