Designing Highly Reliable and Scalable Mission-Critical Workloads on Azure

Details

Our next event will focus on designing mission-critical workloads on Azure using the Well-Architected Framework.

Our speaker, Wayne Munro, is a Senior Solutions Architect with several years of experience in building cloud-based applications.

Looking forward to seeing all of you there!

Abstract:
In this talk, we'll discuss how the pillars of the Well-Architected Framework, like security, operational excellence, and performance efficiency, contribute to the success of critical workloads. We will explore design areas, including application, data platform, networking, observability, security, and more. The talk will also present real-world examples and practical recommendations to illustrate their importance.

Additionally, we'll showcase reference implementations for internet-facing applications and Azure landing zones. We'll learn about specific industry scenarios, such as carrier-grade workloads in the telecommunications sector, where uptime and critical business aspects shape design considerations.

Note: Light refreshments (pizza and drinks) will be provided. Please remember to RSVP to secure your spot.

Venue: Accso South Africa (Pty) Ltd, Suite 302, Clock Tower building, V&A Waterfront.
