Hey Sunset lovers! It's been a while since this group last got together! Over the years, it hosted some wonderful experiences, brought people together, and sparked friendships that continued well beyond the events themselves.

I'm Chris, the group's new organizer. I've hosted quite a few social gatherings in Cape Town myself, including sunset walks along the promenade, dinners, and even a weekend getaway to Stellenbosch. Some of my favourite memories are of people arriving as strangers and leaving as friends.

With Cape Town's summer season getting underway, it feels like the perfect time to bring this group back to life.

To kick things off, I'd love to invite you to a special hosted social at First Thursdays—an evening of art, music, good company, and a little something extra to help us connect beyond the usual small talk.

After some fun introductions and connection games, we'll explore the galleries and street life together, and then head up to a beautiful rooftop bar for sundowners. We'll make sure we're on the roof in time to catch the sunset over Cape Town!

Whether you're a familiar face or joining us for the first time, you're very welcome. Hope to see you there!

First Thursdays is one of Cape Town's best nights out! On the first Thursday of every month, the CBD comes alive with art galleries, music, food, drinks, and people out enjoying the city's creative energy.
And with summer approaching, it's an especially wonderful time to experience Cape Town.
But wouldn't it be even better to explore it with people you've already started getting to know?
That's the idea behind this Connective hosted social.
We'll start by gathering at 5pm for some friendly introductions and a few fun, interactive connection games. I'll also share a little about Connective and our approach to creating more meaningful connections in everyday life.
Nothing too formal or complicated! Just a relaxed, guided opportunity to get to know one another beyond the usual small talk.
Some of us will already know each other, while others will be meeting for the first time. Either way, you'll be welcomed into the group, and by the time we head out, you'll already have a few familiar faces to enjoy the evening with.
Around 5:45–6pm, we'll head out together to explore the galleries, discover music and cultural happenings, sample some food and drinks, and soak up the energy of Cape Town as the summer season gets underway.
From there, we'll let the evening unfold naturally.

• 5:15pm: Hosted introductions and interactive connection games
• 5:45–6:00pm: Head out together to explore First Thursdays
• 6:45-7:18pm: Rooftop Sundowner
• Meeting point: Hacienda Coastal Mexican (check the day before just in case)

Important: Please arrive no later than 5:15pm so you can participate in the opening activities together with the rest of the group.
