This group is operated by Tech Valley Center of Gravity, a 501c3 organization. (01/01/2026).

Thank you for your interest in Tech Valley Center of Gravity! While we originally started out as a Meetup group in 2011, we've now grown into a robust non-profit makerspace, incubator, and STEAM education center in Troy, NY. Due to changing popularity of information streams, we're no longer actively posting events on Meetup. You can keep up with everything COG related by signing up for our monthly newsletter on our website, https://www.tvcog.net/newsletter , and by following us on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.

As an organization, though, we've never been stronger! We have about 270 active members from all walks of life. Our workshop is filled with a wide range of fabrication tools to make just about anything, and is utilized by both hobbyists, entrepreneurs, and established businesses alike. Stop by any Tuesday evening at 7:00pm for our Open House Social Night to get a tour and meet some of the members, and see if a membership could help you achieve your personal or entrepreneurial goals.
