Great Falls of the Potomac River is truly the greatest natural wonder of the DC area, and there is no better time to photograph it than at dawn.
Join Corey Hilz and photograph the early morning splendor of the cascades and waterfalls from the overlook in Maryland, as well as some of the nearby sights such as the C&O Canal and Great Falls Tavern. Learn how to shoot in low light, capture flowing water, exploit the rising sun, compose waterscapes, and more.
We may also be fortunate enough to see and photograph some Great Blue herons.
Recommended Equipment: A DSLR or mirrorless camera with lenses in the range of 12mm to 200mm (35mm equivalent). A sturdy tripod is a must.
Participants should be familiar with their camera and the settings as we'll be working in low light for the first portion of the class.
Questions can be directed to Marie Joabar at info@capitalphotographycenter.com.
Class Limit: 8-9
