Outer Banks weekend surf conditions 10/13-10/15

Stomach to chest high waves with poor to fair shape, due to 9 second period swells, and winds 9 to 18 knots from the NNE. Friday afternoon and Saturday looks the most promising. Water temperature 78, Air temperature 77. Low tide 9:30am, high hide 3:30pm. Suggesting to keep an eye on the conditions as the swell might strengthen due a tropical low disturbance in the middle Atlantic in combination with windswells from the NNE due to a frontal passage, and a high pressure system in the New England states. Enjoy the warm water while you can. Three millimeter wetsuits will be necessary soon enough. The following weekend 10/20-10/22 will be associated high winds and poorly shaped double overheard height.
