Hello fellow chess heads/enthusiasts! Some announcements:
OUR BELOVED CLUB HAS FOUND A NEW HOME!! After just a few months since we had to leave our spot on Columbia RD, we're back and better than ever! Capital Checkers and Chess aka Capital City Chess is now at Potter's House, a cozy coffee shop and bookstore in Adams Morgan just a block and 1/2 from our old club.
Club hours are after the cafe is closed.
Club hours:
- Wednesdays 6p till we get tired
- Thursdays 6p till we get tired
- Saturdays 6p till we get tired
We continue to teach for free both chess and American Pool Checkers (not your kindergarten checkers!)
