Hello Chess Heads!
Great news—our temporary checkmate was just that: temporary! We have found a cozy new venue to resume our games. Please update your mental chessboard with our new location.
We are now meeting at the Washington Family Church on 16th Street in Columbia.
Finding the Entrance (This is important!):
Since the church is on the corner, the entrance we use is on the side street.
Here’s how to get in:
1. Head to the intersection of 16th Street and Columbia Road.
2. Look for our "Capital Checkers & Chess" sign posted on Columbia Road.
3. Once you spot the sign, follow it to the door. That's your entry point!
