Friday Dinner at The Ripe Tomato!

Like a couple of our other destinations this summer, the Ripe Tomato has been around a long time, having earned the loyalty of the Clifton Park/Ballston Spa dining crowd. They get very busy, but have treated us pretty well. Not especially fancy, but a good menu and value-for-the-money. The Ripe Tomato is just south of Malta, on Route 9. I take Exit 12 (east) and go north on Route 9. However, you can avoid the roundabout(s) if you go up one more exit and go south on Route 9. i think. If you're coming up from Albany leave a bit more time. No track-traffic anymore, but can still be a bit heavy going toward Clifton Park. If you get there early, have a drink with us! Note the time (5:30) - I'm often shifting to that time as we move into this season.
