About us
Belong to More Than a Workspace.
Capitalist Club is a private coworking lounge based in Costa Mesa, built for entrepreneurs, business owners, investors, creatives, and operators who want more than surface-level networking.
This group exists to create natural, real-world connection — not forced business card exchanges.
I’m Matt, owner and operator of Capitalist Club, and I built the lounge with one goal:
To create an environment where local professionals can connect organically while having a premium place to work, relax, and build meaningful relationships.
Why This Group Is Different
Most networking events feel transactional.
Ours are built around shared experiences.
In my experience, the three most natural ways people connect are:
• On the Golf Couse
• Smoking cigars together
• Playing poker
When people compete, laugh, and spend real time together, conversations flow differently. Trust builds faster. Partnerships happen naturally.
That’s what we’re creating here.
What You’ll Find
Our events are hosted at the Capitalist Club Coworking Lounge in Costa Mesa, a high-end workspace and social club designed for productivity and connection.
You’ll have access to:
• Professional networking nights
• Poker games
• Golf simulator events
• Cigar-friendly gatherings
• Business-focused mixers
• Lounge access for conversation and collaboration
You are welcome to attend simply to connect and socialize or compete and conquer
Who This Is For
This group is ideal for:
• Entrepreneurs
• Founders
• Real estate professionals
• Investors
• Sales leaders
• Creatives
• Local business owners
• Professionals building something meaningful
If you’re growth-oriented and value real relationships, you’ll fit in.

Capitalist Club Tuesday | OC Networking Night (Poker • Golf • Lounge)
Capitalist Club OC, 3001 Red Hill Ave, Costa Mesa, CA, USFor over a year now, we have been hosting a networking night every Tuesday at the Capitalist Club Coworking Lounge in Costa Mesa and we are finally happy to expand here into the Meetup ecosystem.
On average we have 30–40 entrepreneurs, business owners, and professionals in the facility each week. It’s not a typical mixer. I’ve found that the best connections don’t come from forced introductions — they happen through shared experiences.
That’s why our nights revolve around doing things together.
You can jump into the poker game, shoot pool, hit balls on the golf simulator, play air hockey, enjoy a cigar in the outdoor area, or just grab a drink and connect with people. The cost is $120 for the day pass at the Capitalist Club (Members are Free) Which includes dinner, drinks and $100 in credits to play poker or try your skill at the Hole in one Challenge or the Run The Rack Challenge.
I structure it this way intentionally because when people invest in being here the room changes — and so does the level of conversation. It also weeds out the freeloaders.
If you’re local, have value to give and appreciate real relationships over surface-level networking, you’ll fit in here.
I look forward to meeting and collaborating with everyone.
Cheers, Semper Fi
MattP.S. if this is your first event you'll have to fill out the Capitalist Club Guest Profile which you are welcome to do when you arrive or before hand with that link to save time.
