Join us for a relaxed knitting night with a cozy movie, snacks, and good company. We’ll meet in the Cathy Hildebrand Community Room on Capitol Hill. The space gives us plenty of room for yarn, conversation, and a comfortable watch-together vibe. Everyone is welcome and you can particpate with any fiber craft (knitting, crochet, cross stitch, etc).

Plan for the evening:

  • 6:00-6:30: Arrive, settle in, yarn swap, project show-and-tell
  • 6:30–8:15: Movie and stitching
  • 8:15–8:30: Wrap up and goodbye

Bring:

  • Your knitting or crochet project, ideally something “movie-safe”
  • A small light source or headlamp
  • Snacks or a drink for yourself or to share
  • Chairs are provided, but feel free to bring your own if you want extra comfort
  • Yarn to swap (if you want)

Cost
This event is free! Suggested donation (to keep group on Meetup): $2-$5/meeting

House guidelines:

  • No pets
  • Treat the community room with respect
  • No admission once the movie starts at 6:00

Accessibility:
There are no steps or stairs to get into the community room. 1 gender neutral bathroom is on site. The provided chairs have no arms and are sturdy enough to support heavier folks.

This is a calm, friendly night. Knit quietly, chat softly, or just enjoy the film.
