Capoeira is a ritualistic african brazilian martial art that incorporates singing, dancing, playing and fighting. In capoeira there are different kinds of capoeira but the main styles are Regional and Angola. We will be practice Regional. It was made popular in media by such movies like Only The Strong, The Protector and famous portrayals in video games like Tekkens "Eddy Gordo."
Capoeira for the people is a meetup group focused on introducing new capoeiristas to the art at an affordable price. For now
classes are donation based! Pay what you can but we promise to give
opportunities for participation should the model change. Capoeira is for everyone. No need to get into shape first.
