Beginners Guide to Photography - Guildford

Details
Photographic terms can be confusing to start with but this course has been designed to remove that confusion and help you to become confident in using your camera as it should be used.
We will begin with familiarising ourselves with the manual modes aperture and shutter priority, what they mean and how to use them. We will then cover ISO and auto focus settings and how to set your camera to get the best results. We will then start to put into practice what we have learnt.
By the end of the session you will feel confident in coming off Auto and use more professional settings to feel in control of your camera to get the results that you have always wanted to get.
Please note: this is a small group session (maximum 6) ensuring that Anna-Mair is always available to answer your questions and give you guidance.
Anna-Mair Francis is a formally trained professional photographer with years of experience in teaching people to develop their photographic skills and helping them get the shot they always wanted.
This 3 hour session will start with some simple explanations of the importance of choosing the right setting for the job and give you the time to practice each aspect to cement what you have learnt. Anna-Mair will be there to guide you every step of the way and happy to answer any questions or queries you might have.
This session will take place in Guildford. The exact location will be given on booking but it is close to public transport.
