An eye for detail - less is more!
Details
Knowing camera settings is one thing but what makes a good image? It is much harder to teach people to see an image than the settings to take the image. Often when something catches the eye people think will make a good picture they take the whole scene. More often than not all that is achieved is a record of place or time. The best shot takes some hunting out usually to make a great photograph. One of my mantas is less is more!
On this session we will be looking for smallest part of the scene that sums up your subject as a 'cameo'. We will have a sort of photographic scavenger hunt, I will set you some challenges for you to go in search of certain things and you'll need to find the best composition to make the best image in detail. For example, 'find something green' might be a tiny part of a backlit palm frond as I have used above.
This session will take place at a central location which will be advised soon.
This session will go ahead once there are 3 people booked
