I will be running 2 cribbage bar leagues in North Portland beginning in January.
Your Inn Tavern in St Johns neighborhood (7004 N Catlin Ave)
Migration Brewing in Boise neighborhood (3947 N Williams Ave)
Both leagues are patterned after the Laurelthirst Pub league.
I have tentatively scheduled the start for the 1st week of January, but that could slide.
The date and time are just placeholders. You do not have to play on Jan 4th at noon. Each week you arrange with your opponent what day and time to play.

## Details

Fee is $50 per league payable at the start of the season; play in either or both. Pay via Paypal paypal.me/johnmealy or Venmo @awiztherewas.
Check (John Mealy, 7305 N Greeley Ave, Portland OR 97217) or cash are also accepted.
Your payment is your registration; until I receive payment, you are not registered.
No refunds after the start of the season.
$5 per player per season will cover administrative costs; the rest of the money collected is paid out in the playoffs.
Length of season depends on the number of entrants. Will probably be about a 10 week regular season followed by playoffs for the top 4 from each division.

# League Format

I pretty much copied the description from the Laurelthirst website. If you'd like to see the original, or to get on the Laurelthirst waiting list, go to www.laurelthirst.com, click on Cribbage under "LT Games".

  • The league commissioner will send out a schedule of weekly matches.
  • Each player will play every other player in their division once. For example, if there are 10 players in a division, you will play nine matches, one per week.
  • Each match consists of five games (generally 1.5 to 2 hours)
  • All matches must be played at the host bar. Cribbage boards, pegs, playing cards and score cards provided.
  • For each game, a win will award an additional 5 points, a skunk an additional 10 points, a double skunk an additional 20 points.
  • If you win a majority of three games out of five, you get an additional 15 points.
  • Cumulative point totals from each week will decide who makes the league playoffs.
