Euchre Night (Beginners Welcome)
Details
Euchre is a trick‑taking card game—a family of games where players compete to win “tricks” (rounds of cards). It’s usually played with four players in two teams, using a stripped deck of 24 cards (9 through Ace in each suit). Most historians trace Euchre’s origins to German-speaking Europe, and German and Swiss immigrants brought the game to North America.
Now that you know a bit about this game, let’s get together for a fun, exciting game of Euchre! This game is popular in the Midwest, but it is gaining popularity in the west coast as well.
Never played before? No problem — we’ll teach you. It’s an easy game to learn and a great one to play with others.
We’ll be meeting in the dining area at the Orenco New Seasons. Feel free to arrive a little early if you’d like to grab something to eat before we begin.
We’re excited to welcome new Euchre players and look forward to meeting you!
