Cardano SPO workshop - A Cardano Summit community-led Event

This workshop will teach you everything you need to know to become a Stake Pool Operator (SPO) on the Cardano blockchain. You will learn how to set up and run a stake pool.

Eystein Hansen

Eystein Hansen runs Ada North Pool for Norwegian Block Exchange (NBX), and has been a SPO since the ITN days and even before that. He has been passionate about blockchain governance since 2018. He recently started the company North Block AS as a consultancy service.

BYOL (Bring your own laptop)
Minimum requirements:
Intel or AMD x86 processor with two or more cores, at 2GHz or faster
24GB of RAM
150GB of free storage (250GB recommended for future growth)
Programming knowledge required: No
If your laptop does not meet the requirements you can still attend, but will not be able to build.

Who should attend:
This workshop is ideal for anyone who is interested in becoming an SPO, or who wants to learn more about how stake pools work on Cardano.
