Hello Cardano Community!

To celebrate Cardano Second Anniversary with the community, IOHK, Cardano Foundation and EMURGO are going to Plovdiv, Bulgaria on 28th September!

In this beautiful city of Plovdiv, Bulgaria, the Cardano community will have a meetup celebrating the 2nd anniversary. Special guests from the ecosystem including Charles Hoskinson, David Esser (both IOHK), Hinrich Pfeifer (the Cardano Foundation) and Ken Kodama (EMURGO) will join the event to update you with special announcements.

You can also join the Cardano Smart Contract Workshop with great IOHK contract workshop for Plutus and Marlow led by IOHK instructors and learn Marlowe!

This will be hosted in partnership with Agricultural University Plovdiv

Marlowe Workshop
The 2-hour workshop is hosted by member of IOHK’s smart contracts team: Prof Simon Thompson, who is Project Lead for Marlowe, and Alejandro Garcia, Project Manager and Educator.

Marlowe is a new language for modelling financial instruments as smart contracts on a blockchain. It has been designed for people who are business engineers or subject experts rather than experienced developers and seeks to bridge the gap between the old and new worlds of finance, affecting millions of people globally. Whether you’re working in a startup, a FinTech business, a freelance blockchain developer or a blockchain enthusiast - this workshop is for you.
As an attendee of the workshop you will get to learn about the fundamentals of Marlowe and the Cardano ecosystem that it builds on. You will gain hands-on experience of using Marlowe in practice in the Marlowe Playground, where you can walk though contracts step by step, exploring the different ways that contracts can evolve under user interaction.
