Temple of Peace Remembrance Day tour

Tue 11 Nov 2025 – 2x Remembrance Day tours:

1. morning tour starts 10.00 till 12.00, includes participating in national ‘minute of silence’ @ 11am on 11/11.
2. lunchtime tour starts 13.00 till 14.30, focuses on story of WW1 Book of Remembrance, and ‘Never Again’ peacebuilding campaigns from the 1920s

An icon of the nation, War Memorial, and star of Film and TV screen from ‘Dr Who’ to ‘Mr Burton‘, Wales’ Temple of Peace and Health is very much a working building, hosting international charities and organisations who work with communities Wales-wide on issues world-wide. The building is open to the public for events and functions, but if you’df like to find out more about the history we encourage prospective visitors to join one of WCIA’s regular ‘Temple Tours’ and open doors days – when the Library and Archives can also be made accessible by request
