The Ideas of Jordan Peterson

Details
(Beginners) On June 5th we break from the Harvard Course to do an informal meetup looking at Jordan Peterson and his book '12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos'. Just search 'Jordan Peterson' and you will find hundreds if not thousands of him. Or here's the wikipedia page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jordan_Peterson and here's his youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/c/jordanpetersonvideos
In contrast to the Harvard Course, you don’t have to have read the book or know anything about Peterson, by all means just rock up (though please sign up so I know numbers for tables).
Come 7pm to buy food/drinks.
We'll be downstairs, ask at the bar if lost. Please come on time.
Please be courteous and signup if coming. If running late, message openly in comments.
The Philharmonic is a great venue, quiet for chatting, comfy seats, candles, civilised, good food and drink.
I haven’t been before, what should I expect?
A group discussion on the insights and ideas of Jordan Peterson.
The format for the evening goes like this:
• We’ll start 7:00.
• When you arrive there’ll be 1, 2 or 3 tables set up depending on numbers. Sit on any table, wherever you like.
• When discussing the subject please endure:
- the conversation stays on topic, unless there’s a particularly interesting tangent which therefore might briefly be indulged;
- one person speaks at a time and no arguing;
- individuals focus on dialectic rather than competitive conversation;
• The discussion will end 9:00pm
• You may stay on for a drink and socialise if you wish.
The Philharmonic give us downstairs for free in return for business. Therefore while these meetups are entirely free to you, if you can afford to (and no problem if not) please buy something from the bar - tea, soft drink, alcohol, food. Thank you
