Cards for Seniors at Texas Farmers Market

Spread some holiday spirit!

Bring your friends and family to Texas Farmer's Market at Mueller, and drop by the Cards for Seniors table to make a handmade card for local seniors living in long-term care facilities.

This is an all-ages, family-friendly, kid-friendly, pet-friendly event.
The venue has an open grassy area, playground area, covered patio areas, and indoor area with indoor restrooms. You'll also enjoy the wide selection of local vendors and booths at the market.

Don't be afraid to step up and be a cardmaker!
No prior arts or crafts experience is needed to make a card. We'll have plenty of supplies on hand and sample cards for inspiration.

When: Sunday, December 14; Drop by our table at the market anytime between 10a and 2p.

Parking: Free parking is available streetside on Sundays around the venue, or there are three paid parking garages within walking distance (and most businesses on Aldrich St will validate). More details at texasfarmersmarket.org

Who will receive the cards?
Cards will be distributed to seniors living in nursing facilities in the Central Texas area. Our goal is to collect and distribute 10,000 cards this year! We're about to cross 5,000----Will you be part of this community effort to help us reach our goal before the end of the year?
