Is My Parent Okay? — Conversation for adult children with ageing parents
Details
You've noticed something. Maybe your parent is forgetting things more than usual. Maybe they had a fall. Maybe they just seem slower, quieter, different — and you don't know if it's just ageing or something to worry about.
And you haven't really talked to anyone about it.
This is that conversation.
Our first online meetup is a small, informal gathering for adult children of ageing parents — working professionals, people living away from parents, NRIs, anyone who is quietly navigating this and feeling underprepared.
We're not doing presentations. We're not doing slides. We're just going to talk — openly, honestly, with people who are in the exact same situation.
What you'll leave with: ✓ A simple 5-point checklist to assess your parent's current health at home ✓ Clarity on what's normal ageing vs what actually needs attention ✓ A small community of people who understand exactly what you're going through
Led by Dr. Jahnavi Pericherla — Public Health Consultant, 3 years NHS Elderly Care, UK, MPH University of York.
Free. Online. Intimate.
Note: This is not a medical or clinical session. It's an educational, community-led conversation — a space to share experiences, ask questions, and leave feeling more informed and less alone.
