What we’re about
The purpose of this group is to bring African, Caribbean and those who appreciate the culture together. Many of us have moved to the Charlotte area and have found it hard to meet other expats and the CCAA is the perfect medium for this.
We want to create and environment where people can link up, have a good time and build relationships. The group focus is on both on African and Caribbean cultures. Expect to see the following:
- Caribbean and African Festivals
- Traveling
- Concerts
- Monthly outings
- Cooking opportunities.

Moravian Falls, NC 28654For those interested in carpooling/caravaning, we will meet at the Walmart Supercenter in Huntersville and leave promptly at 10:00. It's about an 1:15 drive from there to Perry Lowe Orchards.

Huntersville, NC 28078You must RSVP for a time slot here https://www.perryloweorchards.com/u-pick/ Choose the 12pm time slot for 10/4. The RSVP is free but there's a $2 per person fee that's payable to cover the wagon ride down to the orchard. The price for u-pick bags are $4 for small and $8 for the large.
