Biltmore Lake - Pisgah National Forest Loop

Modified route (as of 2/3): Hike 5.6 miles, 650 ft. ascent

Meeting Place: Biltmore Lake Clubhouse

Beginning at the Biltmore Lake Clubhouse, we’ll do a loop hike including Biltmore Lake trails along Enka Lake, and up onto a woods road overlooking the area. Mostly on good trails and old forest roads. Leisurely pace of 2-2.5 mph.

Highlights: interesting frozen lake views, open snowy hardwood forest! Exercise!!

There is a chance of afternoon rain, in which case I will cut the hike short but bring a rain jacket!
Cleats and poles will probably not be necessary, but if in doubt bring them.

No furry friends or dogs.
