we are headed to the Nantahala National Forest 🌲

Stay tuned for an itinerary as the event gets closer but there is so much to in the area! We can kayak Lake Chatuge, float down the Hiwasee River (or kayak!), hike Bell Mountain, visit a brewery in Haysville and so much more.

In the meantime book your site asap! Hosts are in the B loop sites 59 and 57.

We’ll be camping at Jackrabbit Mountain Recreation Area, which sits on a peninsula that goes right out into Lake Chatuge.

It’s part of Nantahala National Forest, so you’ve got mountains all around, but the campsite itself is right on the water.

You can kayak straight from the camp.

The lake is large, calm in a lot of areas, and easy to explore. You can stick close to shore, paddle out into open water, or just float and hang out. There are also trails around the peninsula if you want to get off the water for a bit.

Book your site and stay tuned!!!!
