Grand Re-Opening of Finlay Park! 🎉

The City of Columbia is excited to announce the grand re-opening of Finlay Park on Saturday, November 15, 2025. This milestone event will showcase the completion of the park’s transformative revitalization restoring the City’s crown jewel and creating new spaces for recreation, entertainment and community gatherings. The grand re-opening celebration will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will be followed by an all-day celebration of music presented by Jam Room Music Festival.
Who: Mayor Daniel J. Rickenmann, City of Columbia Councilmembers, City Manager Teresa Wilson, Assistant City Manager Henry Simons, Community Leaders, representatives of Mashburn Construction, and other key stakeholders.
What: Grand re-opening of Finlay Park
Where: The Stage at Finlay Park; Columbia’s new home for outdoor concerts, cultural and art performances, and community gatherings

Hoot Columbia - Riffs for Rescues

No agenda, no pressure—just a relaxed atmosphere where you can unwind after work, swap stories, and connect with other young professionals in Columbia. Whether you’ve been with the group for a while or are joining us for the first time, we’d love to see you there.----
“Riffs For Rescues”, a music fundraiser show for the benefit of West Columbia’s Final Victory Animal Rescue.
100% of all ticket sales will go directly to FVAR to help them rescue more cats and dogs and help them find their forever homes! There will also be adoptable dogs at the show from 7:30-9:30!
