Saturday evening social with a concert in St.Johns Smith Square

We have the pleasure of inviting you to St John's Smith Square to a beautiful piano recital with Vesselin STANEV, piano, the 26 of april 2024 at 7.30 pm

Robert Schumann : The Fantasy in C major op. 17
Johannes Brahms : Eight pieces op. 76
Franz Liszt : Sonata in B minor

The bar and restaurants will be open for food, drink and social....
Enjoy delicious, ethically sourced drinks, snacks, and pre-concert meals in the Footstool Cafe & Bar, operated by Leafi. Located in the atmospheric crypt at Smith Square.
The cafe has snacks.
Vegetarian, vegan, gluten and dairy free options are available.

The Concert begins at 7.30 PM
I will be around to give you your ticket and introduce you to the others joining us....
With this concert, we will be supporting The Fridge CIC charity and donate to the St John's Smith Square Music Fund

Come whenever you fancy. I'll be there however from 6.00 PM onwards...

Vesselin Stanev was born in Varna (Bulgaria). His teacher was Dmitri Bashkirov at the Tchaikovsky Conservatoire, Alexis Weissenberg at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique of Paris. Vesselin Stanev rapidly made a name for himself as a musician of outstanding talent, and awards at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Competition and at the Concours Marguerite Long - Jacques Thibaud bear witness to this. Vesselin Stanev’s career has taken him to leading European concert halls as well as to Scandinavia, Russia, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe and Japan.

So you can come and socialise before the beginning of the concert that starts at 7.30 PM sharp.
