Reno Tea Party Rally II

"Rally, Mohawks! Bring out your axes, and tell King George we'll pay no taxes..."

The REAL Tea Party is back! Ron Paul's supporters started the "Tea Party" movement in 2007.

Let's meet at "The Hop" in downtown Reno. This is a nice, family oriented ice cream shop (they sell warm stuff too!) where we'll gather. Then, maybe around 3:30, we'll start to march around downtown, waving our Ron Paul signs and spreading the good news. BRING YOUR RON PAUL GEAR!!!

Be sure to dress warm, and please be ready to purchase at least a small item from the ice cream shop (they don't know were coming, so please be very polite, as only RP folks can be!). http://img2.meetupstatic.com/981263258369601089/img/smileys/smile.gif

The location is on the corner of S. Sierra St. and W. 1st St., near the river.

Here's the text from our original Tea Party:

Let's show our support for Dr. Paul on this anniversary of the Boston Tea Party.

The patriots in 1773 made a huge statement against the British empire over two hundred years ago; let's honor their memory by showing support for what they fought for: Freedom, Liberty, and No Taxation Without Representation!

Colonial dress is optional, but it would help us get the public and the media's attention. If anyone has a big American flag, or a fife and drum set, dig it out; let's make this a memorable event for Dr. Paul!!!

Bring your signs and what ever else to show your support!

"Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom must, like men, undergo the fatigue of supporting it."
-- Thomas Paine
