Street Photography by Henry Rinne joined by Fran DeRespinis
Details
Online meeting ONLY
Photography in urban settings has existed since the beginning of photography. In fact, the first image attributed to Daguerre was a street scene. This presentation dissects the essence of street photography, focusing on composition, decisive moment, juxtaposition, abstraction, street portraiture, and the photographer as voyeur. Following a review of street photography, Henry will present his own images and push the definition of Street Photography to include other genres of urban photography, such as architecture and nature. Noted photographers included in the presentation are Atget, Cartier-Bresson, Stieglitz, Frank, Arbus, Winogrand, Weegee, and Parks.
Fran Derespinis will join Henry at the end of the presentation to offer his perspective and present his own work for discussion.
this is an online event ONLY - non-member will need to request a link from programs@caryphotographicartists.org - limited lines available first come first serve
