We will be screening Anywhere Anytime (2024), Milad Tangshir's feature debut. 🎬
Frequently described as a modern take on Vittorio De Sica’s Bicycle Thieves, Anywhere Anytime is a "a poignant examination of how poverty and desperation lead to bad decisions and more desperation. It’s a vicious cycle that can happen to anyone, anywhere, anytime."
This event will run from 6:30pm to 9:30pm, and the movie will start at 7.15pm - so come early and stay after the film for a bit of music, refreshments and a chat. The bar will be open throughout the evening, and there’s plenty of stocks to top you up after your initial drink! 😉
As usual, all proceeds go towards Casa Italiana, which is run by volunteers who are fighting to keep this vibrant hub and community centre of the Italian diaspora in London alive! 🇮🇹
The movie will be in Italian with English subtitles - a perfect way to practice for language learners!
