Poly - The polyglot language learning App

I’m a traveler building a new language learning app, and I’d love to get some real feedback from people who are interested in learning languages.

This is a one-time pop-up event in Casablanca — just a small, casual focus group over coffee.

This is not a class — it’s a super casual focus group (1–3 people max) where you’ll:

• Try out the app with me
• Share your thoughts on what works (and what doesn’t!)
• The app is currently in beta, we can download and try it.
• Help shape the future of a new language tool

• 3D game dictated by speech, learn a language by building worlds
• Story mode, illustrate and read all the popular fairy tales in your target language, but at a level you can understand
• Describe what's in your photos, Question and Answers related to your photo album
• A fake Tinder miniapp with chat capabilities designed for real life language learning with real people
• Video conferencing with a communiy of language exchange learners directly on the App
• A journal entry for you to log daily words you see around you and wanted to learn, along with when/where/who context for each phrase
• Scenario based practice with customizable goals
• Passive learning by listening for daily commutes with no interaction with the phone, perfect for offline learning
• Warm up exercises to get your juices flowing with rhyming poems and tongue twisters
• Watch videos like a karaoke system along side a camera that focuses on the shape of your mouth as you mimic the shave of the native speaker (great for languages like French, where the shape of your mouth is extremely important)

Based on demand, we can turn this into a language exchange session if you like. I speak Engish, and semi-decent Mandarin, Cantonese, and Spanish. We can also try to practice any of the 20 other languages together.
