Distance: 24.80 miles Elevation Gain: 111 feet Pace: Moderate: [14-16mph] Terrain: Mostly flat Regroup: Stay together Weather Cancellation: Steady rain cancels Ride Description: Join us for a ride from the Ocean Shores Convention Center on a 24.8 mile route at a Moderate pace of 14-16 mph! This route will provide a tour of the residential areas of Ocean Shores, a view of the ocean from the North Jetty, views along Duck Lake and Grays Harbor. Let's meet in the parking lot of the Convention Center at 9:40 AM for our pre-ride safety briefing, with a departure at 10:00 AM. Our goal will be to stay together. Restrooms are available at the start at the McDonalds. We will stop along the way for restrooms/water as needed. We have the option to stop at the coffee shop in Oyhut. You are encouraged to pre-register by going to https://cascade.org/node/68846 and clicking the red "Register Now" button above. There is no need to unregister if you decide not to ride. Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group. Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader will not be at the start location.
