Join the Cascade STEAM Cyber Community Group on June 12th from 5:20pm-7:00pm at Diamond Jim's Grill as we continue to work on organizing our group and building a local cybersecurity community. Our meetings are free and anyone with an interest in Cybersecurity is welcome to attend.

• Welcome & Introductions
• Career Spotlight & Presentation: Cybersecurity Audits & Tools, presented by Steven Reed, IT Cybersecurity Auditor, Washington State Auditor’s Office (SAO).

Steven will share his career journey, describe SAO Cybersecurity audits that occur throughout Washington, describe/show tools and techniques used, and will describe typical findings. Steven also will describe his role and experience responding to cyber/fraud incidents reported to the SAO. Steven holds multiple certifications and is willing to share how those have served him in his career.

Steven graduated from Western Washington University in 2018 with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and minors in Economics and Business Administration. He is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), is a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma, and holds GIAC Information Security Fundamentals (GISF) and Security Essentials (GSEC) certifications.
