What we’re about
We're here to save the planet! Actually to save the diversity of life (e.g. human) on the planet. We work to build public awareness and involvement on climate change; to spread knowledge about climate science through staging events such as our Climate Science on Tap panel series; and we encourage community action on climate change by spreading the word about all climate events and actions on our website and calendar, where anyone can become informed, get involved, and generally help speed the transition from fossil fuel to clean energy sources. We work with climate scientists and energy experts to enable them to share the latest research and information at community venues, as well as maintain a one-stop calendar of upcoming climate events around the Pacific Northwest. We are based in Seattle but include all of Cascadia in our target audience. Together we can make a difference.
