Three brilliant University of Washington grad students will be live at Bickersons Brewhouse next Wednesday, May 22nd, at 6:30 to each present on their particular research into climate change, its impacts on aquatic ecosystems, and potential responses.

This will be another Schooner, a community outreach series from the UW's Program on Climate Change (PGraSC) with support of local grassroots nonprofit Cascadia Climate Action.* Madeleine Strait, a UW Ecology grad student, will moderate.

Panel:

  • Unraveling the Mystery of Antarctica's Melting Ice: Insights from 2023's Record Low Sea Ice - Zac Espinosa
  • Hidden Impacts of Climate Change on Marine Organisms - Juliette Jacquemont
  • The Scoop on Poop: Characterizing Micronutrients in Excrement to Understand the Lost Recycling Services of Great Whales in the Antarctic - Patrick Monreal

Free or by donation. All ages welcome!
