Estoril Fun Writing Meetup Group

Welcome to the new phase of our Writing Group!

From now on, we focus exclusively on creative writing inspired by the unique history of Cascais & Estoril — from exiled royalty and WWII refugees to expats, spies and remarkable characters who lived here.

Our sessions alternate every two weeks:
one meeting in English
one meeting in Portuguese

We explore:
History of Estoril and Cascais for
.Concept and Theme building
. Character creation
. Atmosphere and world-building
- Hero´s journey
- And my own method to create funny characters
Let´s write short stories, scenes, scripts and synopses

Inspiration from In the Lion’s Mouth (Larry Loftis) and Estoril (Dejan Tiago Stanković)

Participation: €40 per month.

Our first meeting will take place on Sunday, January 11th, 2026, at Lobo Cowork Estoril at 3 pm.
