What we’re about
Welcome to the new phase of our Writing Group!
From now on, we focus exclusively on creative writing inspired by the unique history of Cascais & Estoril — from exiled royalty and WWII refugees to expats, spies and remarkable characters who lived here.
Our sessions alternate every two weeks:
one meeting in English
one meeting in Portuguese

. Atmosphere and world-building
- Hero´s journey
- And my own method to create funny characters
Let´s write short stories, scenes, scripts and synopses
Inspiration from In the Lion’s Mouth (Larry Loftis) and Estoril (Dejan Tiago Stanković)
Participation: €40 per month.
Our first meeting will take place on Sunday, January 11th, 2026, at Miami Mami Estoril at 3 pm.
Come write, discuss ideas and transform historical figures into new stories.
