What kind of investing background and experience do you have?

I have read many real estate investment books and am currently investing in notes. I work for a bank and frequently study credit and lending along with retirement planning and budgeting.

Why do you want to play Cash Flow?

I love the game's concept of teaching finance better than monopoly. I'm a big can of monopoly as well but this game actually shows you different paths to wealth building. I like the concept of learning to save for your goals that this game provides and it also teaches you the key difference between liabilities and assets. This is a huge lesson and I think this game should be taught in schools!

What other board games do you like to play?

All of them! Monopoly is my favorite if you play with people who don't get too serious about losing their paper money. I also like loaded questions, scrabble and risk. Risk is a special game to me because I used to play it with my buddies literally every day in elementary school in our after school daycare program.

How many times have you played the Cash Flow Game before?

I would guess 10 times. I've had trouble finding people to play with consistently and it was hard trying to convince my college friends to play when they didn't get the concept.

Hello! My wife and I just moved to Portland from San Diego CA and love it! I have always been real estate and money minded and I haven't had a group of regular Cashflow players to join in with so I'm excited to about this meetup group!
