Thanks for taking the time to read this. I'm organizing a meet 3rd Sunday of this month for members to get to know each other, learn and play the cashflow board game and discuss any ideas or opportunities we'd like to share.

So what should you expect?

Our meet up's a low key, have fun, learn and eat something kinda hang out. We keep it real informal, and you'll be suprised how well total strangers get along when a thinking game and some food are introduced to the setting... interesting opportunities to patner-up + some bloopers and blonde moments + guys getting you back on track with some good-natured humor....

So expect us to hang out and talk personal finances, money and investing, with the option to go really deep or wide with anything regarding the two subjects to the best of the present member's abilities. We share about the ideas and opportunities we see around us, regardless of our feelings towards them- it's a good way to get another perspective on what we're exposed to and to know what we don't know. We try to always have 20mins at the end of the meet to talk about the game we've just completed and have guys express the key take-aways they've gotten. The Cashflow board game is a really good way to assess your ability to make and manage money in an uncertain environment (the randomn card-picking and dice do a real good job of mimicking life's uncertainty) and gauge your risk tolerance using paper money. Check this link to get a better picture of it: https://www.thefastlaneforum.com/community/threads/cashflow-101-game-strategies.1605/

We get a table or two at one of the restaurants at Garden City in the open area next to the Kid's play area. I own a game set and I'll bring that, along with some personal finance and development pdfs and audiobooks. Anyone with another board or some interesting book, article, recording etc can bring and share too.

Bring about 500/= that we'll pool together for the food and drinks we'll agree to get. Bringing a friend or two is also a way of easing your nerves if making friends out of total strangers is not a strong point for you : ) -But don't worry...we're nice (other than the razzing when the bloopers show up).

Cheers guys!! See you Sunday.

PS: Also bring a sweater or some equivalent of that, the place is quite breezy and as the evening checks in it tends to get rather cold....Not kidding, bring something to keep you warm.

And reading/listening to Rich Dad Poor Dad book/audio book or at least googling and going through a summary of it will really give you a head start when you do come out for the meet. Here's a link to my google drive folder to get it if you haven't. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1UaDO-tr1-BMenE-OhydRMqIk95-94jLW

Get the audio or pdf, whichever works best... And if you can't make it to the meet, i'm sure the info can still be a great jumpstart for getting your money right.
