First Meetup, Python and R for gaming analytics

By now, most people with a passing interest in data science have heard of the programming languages Python and R. But getting started can be intimidating and a bit of a mystery. What can I accomplish that I can't already do with the tools I'm using now? How will I learn a programming language without prior experience? Each language has thousands of packages and libraries, which do I need? How do I get my data in or out? We will cover these questions and more, and walk through a complete analytic project.
