About us
Cast & Climb Collective is a friendly and welcoming community for outdoor enthusiasts who love hiking the mountains of East TN and western NC, trying our hand at fly fishing in these cold Appalachian streams, exploring America’s great national parks together, and gathering around a good meal afterward.
While many of us are in our 30s, 40s, and 50s, this group is open to anyone who enjoys fresh air, honest conversation, and meeting new people who share a love of the outdoors, travel, and food.
We’re not chasing records or trying to impress anyone. We’re just focused on building authentic friendships the old-fashioned way — by putting in the miles together, standing in rivers at sunrise, swapping trail stories over burgers, and planning the next adventure.
From local hikes in the Cherokee National Forest to fly fishing days along the Watauga and Nolichucky, to bucket-list trips out west, Cast & Climb is about shared experiences and steady camaraderie.
Come for the trails.
