Humorous Speech and Table Topics Competition

Prepare to be entertained at the bi-annual Casterbridge Speakers Club Competition! Join us for an evening filled with humour and quick thinking as our talented members take the stage to compete in two captivating contests.
Humorous Speech Competition: Our members will leave you in stitches with their well-crafted, humorous speeches. These aren't just jokes; they're brilliantly structured presentations on a wide range of topics, all with a delightful twist of humour. Each speaker has up to 7 minutes to tickle your funny bone and showcase their wit.
Table Topics Challenge: Witness the art of impromptu speaking as contestants are given surprise topics and have just moments to craft a 1-2 minute speech. It's a test of quick thinking, creativity, and the ability to engage an audience on the spot.
The winners of these competitions will proudly represent Dorchester on the next stage of their journey, competing against other top talents from Dorset clubs. These competitions are part of the esteemed Toastmasters International program, taking place in countries all around the world.
Whether you're a seasoned public speaking enthusiast or simply looking for a night of laughter and inspiration, our Casterbridge Speakers Club Competition promises an unforgettable experience. Mark your calendars and get ready to be amazed by the power of humour and the thrill of impromptu speaking!
