Kathrine McKee boasts an illustrious career in the entertainment industry that spans over 41 years. Her journey began under the mentorship of the legendary Sammy Davis Jr., which opened doors to the vibrant world of show business. She secured her first television role on The New Bill Cosby Show, marking the beginning of a successful career and earning her a Screen Actors Guild (SAG) card.
Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, Ms. McKee flourished as a popular actress in Hollywood, gracing numerous sitcoms with her talent. Her versatility and charisma captivated audiences and established her as a prominent figure in the industry.
Transitioning from acting to broadcasting, Ms. McKee became the number one Los Angeles Morning Talk Show Host for KHJ-TV. Her engaging personality and insightful commentary resonated with viewers, leading to further opportunities as a guest host on AM New York and AM Boston for ABC Network.
In 1991, her expertise and experience earned her an invitation to serve as an adjunct visiting professor at Michigan Tech University in the humanities department. This role allowed her to share her knowledge and inspire the next generation of industry professionals.
