Welcome to the Castle Rock Women's Hiking Group for mature outdoor enthusiasts aged 55 and older! If you are looking to form female friendships in a small (less than 50) group while out exploring nature, this is the group for you. Our main activities will include hiking, backpacking, snowshoeing, camping and social get togethers. Discover the beauty of the great outdoors with a fun and supportive community of like-minded women. Our hikes will vary from easy to hard; near and far with variable mileage and elevation gain. Want to climb a 14er? Let's do it! Want friends to hike Douglas county open space with? This is your group! Let's explore together and create lasting memories in the wilderness! Your active participation in this group will be appreciated and integral to the group dynamic.
