German A1.2 Sprint: Dienstleistungen in der Stadt

This will be a one time offering of German language course. Being Swiss, I do speak the Zurich dialect but the course with be in standard German.

### A Yearlong Learning Experience

Running for 30 weeks starting Jan, allowing for steady and meaningful progress over time. Each 1.5 to 2-hour weekly session focuses on vocabulary, communication, grammar, and reading, following the CEFR A1 standards.

A1 Standards:

• Understand and extract meaning from basic phrases and short conversations.
• Understand simple written texts, such as signs, and labels. You can grasp the main idea as well as extract basic information from short messages, postcards, and simple descriptions.
• Engage in basic conversations using simple vocabulary and phrases. You can exchange greetings, and also provide basic personal information.
• Write simple sentences. You can fill out basic forms, and write basic personal letters or emails using simple language structures.
• Lastly, you are also familiar with the basic cultural aspects of German-speaking countries.
