About us
Based on the north shore, but with members from all over northeastern Massachusetts, southeastern New Hampshire and beyond, this is the group for paddlers who enjoy their kayaking adventures at a laid back, leisurely pace. For us, it's not how quickly we can get from point "A" to point "B" while on the water. If your idea of kayaking means sharing with friends, new and old, the beauty of our local flat-water lakes and rivers as you paddle, then this group is for you. Some of the places we paddle include the Merrimack, Squamscott, Essex, and Charles rivers; Plum Island; lakes Massabesic, Pawtuckaway, Gardner and Chebacco; and Country, Tuxbury, and Great ponds.
Everyone is welcome to suggest paddle destinations and to help plan future activities, as this is what makes a fun and successful group.

Lifejackets (PFD's) are required when paddling with this group.
Consuming alcohol during any Casual Kayakers event is prohibited.

Let's boogie for a great cause at the "Tennessee Whiskey Boot Scootin' Boogie Bash" on March 28th, 2026 at the fun-themed Castleton Event Center in Windham, NH from 5:pm to 11:pm, where we will party hard and support veterans in need!
The Eric Grant Band will crank up the tunes and keep the dance floor hot; we'll dig into a seriously delicious themed dinner along with live/silent auction options and a photo booth to keep things exciting - all rolled into one "not-to-be-missed" BIG night of FUN supporting veterans through the Homeland Heroes Foundation!
