Pawtuckaway Kayak, Potluck Picnic & Optional Camping Adventure!!!

Let's have a fun kayak adventure and potluck picnic with friends on Pawtuckaway Lake on August 12th! The plan is to meet at the Neals Cove canoe launch at do a paddle at 10:00 AM for a few hours around the lake and then have a potluck picnic at the beach. OPTIONAL: if you like to camp, there are camping sites that you can reserve on ReserveAmerica - I will be camping on Horse Island at site #25 the night of the 12th.

IMPORTANT:
*Please be prepared for kayaking on Pawtuckaway Lake and have "butts in boat" at 10:00am so no-one is waiting just for you in the sun.
*Bring something to share for the potluck and kindly post what you are bringing in the comments.
*No guests or dogs; have your guest join Casual Kayakers and RSVP
*Please update your RSVP if you can no longer attend.
*If you are attending just for the day (not camping), go to the Pawtuckaway website and reserve a day spot in advance.
*Camping is optional and you must make your own reservation on ReserveAmerica
*Life preservers must be worn on the kayak trip

WAIVER:
Lifejackets (PFDs) are mandatory when paddling with us.

You also agree to assume all mental, physical, financial, and/or other risk associated with this meetup. Kayaking, camping, hiking, bicycling, and other outdoor activities pose inherent risks and dangers. Participation in these activities is voluntary and dependent upon your own personal judgment. As organizers, we make no claims regarding any expertise for this outing. This is not a guided tour.
Consuming alcohol before or during our events is prohibited.
