O Brother, Where Art Thou (2000)

SALES PITCH: This is an easy one. Either you’ve seen this movie before, in which case you will be as excited as I am to see it again in theaters. Or you’ve never seen it, in which case this is the opportunity you’ve been waiting for to fix your wrong and backwards way of living. 

Arguably one of the Coen brothers best (is it arguable?), based on the epic The Odyssey, and driven by perfect dialogue and a killer soundtrack. Join me, folks, for some mighty fine a-pickin’ and a-singin’.

AS ALWAYS, I recommend buying a ticket in advance. Seating this general admission, so no need to coordinate. The film starts at 2:00, but I’ll get there a little early so we can meet up before finding seats. Let’s plan to do dinner, drinks, and discussion at some walkable little spot after the movie!
