Music at the Domain

Music at the Domain. We’re at an indoor venue for the winter months. Please check back to the event page before the meetup as there may be venue changes.

The aim of our event is to practice performing music, whether it is a cover or an original, English or otherwise, and we welcome all instruments, styles, genres and ability. It is also a great opportunity to meet other amateur musicians to collaborate.

If you enjoy live music and want to come and listen, you are also very welcome.

So that we can get through all of the attendees in the session, we’ll start with one song per performer. If there is extra time at the end we can welcome additional songs. Collaborations only count towards one of the performer’s allocation, i.e a duo can perform two songs.

A gold coin donation would be appreciated to help cover gear costs and donations to the venue but is completely optional. Snacks would also be appreciated but again, optional :)

We are very fortunate to be supported by Aaiotanga Community Space, so please be respectful of the space to allow us to continue hosting events at this venue.

We may take photos on the day for promoting the event and venue. Please let us know if you do not want your photo to be taken or used.

2:00pm - doors open at the venue and there will be a sign up sheet for performers to sign up
2:10pm - start the live music :)
4pm - end of performances.
